Palm Centro available on Sprint network in Q4
Posted on September 11th, 2007 in Sprint, Palm, Palm Centro |
According to Sprint, the Palm Centro is the slimmest Palm OS device which features an internal antenna, full QWERTY keyboard and touch screen navigation. On the Sprint side of the house, you’re going to enjoy Sprint TV On-Demand and media player via PocketTunes Deluxe. As far as messaging goes, there’ll be instant messaging and email for both business and consumer.

Other key features include a 1.3-megapixel camera (this is soooo last year and hardly a feature at all considering everyone is moving towards 2-megapixels!!! I’m going to say it again — what the hell is wrong with Palm?!) The Palm Centro’s only saving grace and feature worth bragging about is Sprint’s EV-DO service dubbed SprintSpeed.
Update No 1:
According to SlashGear, Palm and Sprint is holding a press conference to make some sort of product announcement on Sept 27. While the anonymous tip didn’t mention what was being announced, where or what time, they assume it’s the Palm Centro that’s getting announced on that date.
Thanks palmaddict!
